Please read this blog post very carefully, because the following process if followed and implemented honestly, can be very revealing:

This process I’m about to reveal to you CAN and WILL help replace any limiting beliefs you may have in ANY area of your life (whether it be financial, work related, or personal), with far more supportive and positive beliefs.

So it’s VERY important that you read every word on this page.

Firstly, write down (it’s important to commit to paper) all your beliefs about the particular area you are struggling with, at this point it is very important to be completely open and honest with yourself and write down what you really feel deep down NOT what you think you should be feeling.

Secondly, when you’ve finished your list, take a good look at it, really examine it; you’re searching for limiting beliefs,  now that doesn’t mean they have to be true or not, ONLY if they are limiting.

Thirdly, beside each limiting belief write a newer more positive and supportive belief, similar to the following examples: –

Limited Beliefs: –                                                         New Beliefs: –
It’s hard to meet people.                                                 It’s easy to meet people
I’ll never get ahead.                                                         I’m bound to succeed.
I haven’t got the time.                                                     I have lots of time.
There are no opportunities left to make money.         There is an abundance of money                                                                                                       making opportunities.

Now using the following technique it is possible to replace the limited beliefs with the new beliefs by impressing them into your subconscious mind.

Remember that your subconscious mind does not discriminate or make decisions, it simply acts on the instructions you send it, and by following this technique repeatedly, you will find that you will have a whole set of new more powerful beliefs working for you.

Repetition.

This technique is actually very simple, you have been using it all of your life. You’ve used it to learn things like your multiplication tables, learning your first language, counting. The list could go on, but you get the idea.

Remember when you where learning these things, how many times did you write down and memorize, you probably don’t remember, but you learnt these thing by continually repeating them and correcting yourself when you went wrong.

Now you can read and write, speak your own language without thinking about it, all achieved by continuous repetition.

As an aside, before we delve even deeper into this repetition technique, I would like to quickly let you know what the 4 stages of learning we all go through to become good at anything:-

1) Unconscious incompetence. This when you do not know you can’t do it.
2) Conscious incompetence. You now know you can’t do it.
3) Conscious competence. You can do it, but you have to really think about it.
4) Unconscious competence. You do it automatically, without thinking about it.

These are the stages of learning your subconscious mind goes through, think as an example of how you learnt to drive.

Just like any other new information, ideas and beliefs must be imprinted in your mind before you can use them successfully and automatically. You can do this by using a combination of affirmations and contemplations. Whilst repeating the idea to yourself, think about it, no really think about it, imagine it being real, how would you feel.

Think of your mind as a garden, plant only good seeds, but remember to be vigilant, because if you sink back into your old ways of thinking your unruly thoughts and ideas, like mental weeds will soon take over.

There is a time period for germination of any new idea and belief, and it can take time. It doesn’t happen overnight by whizzing over a new belief once, twice, ten or even twenty times.

True imprinting is formed by continuous repetition and usually requires one to three months before the effects are firmly planted. Continuous repetition is the key here, you simply must commit to repeating your new beliefs to yourself on a daily basis at least 5 times per day, even better if you can write them down every time as well.

Remember you are trying to create new neural pathways which will imprint your new beliefs indelibly onto your subconscious mind, but quite often these new beliefs contradict the existing beliefs and it is simply not possible for your mind to incorporate any new belief unless your intention is to imprint it continuously for at least 30 days, and if you think about it, why would you waste your time with half-hearted attempts anyway, if you are going to do this you have to commit 100%.

Every new belief needs your nurture and care to help it flourish, just as you would take care of new seedlings planted in the garden, so if you really are 100% set on changing your limiting beliefs and exploring your possibilities then anything less than 30 days just won’t work.

Now repeat the following…

Anything less than 30 days doesn’t work.
Anything less than 30 days doesn’t work
Anything less than 30 days doesn’t work.

Get the idea? Then get to work.

Make EVERY day an AWESOME day.
